Self-Exclusion at Winbd
Winbd provides a formal self-exclusion program to assist players in managing gambling involvement. Activation applies to all games and services offered on the Winbd platform. Self-exclusion is voluntary and becomes effective upon submission of the selected period and confirmation of the request. This policy sets out the process to initiate self-exclusion, the durations available, the immediate and ongoing effects on a Winbd account, cooling-off options, reactivation rules, and related responsibilities.
Eligibility and initiation
Only registered Winbd users may initiate self-exclusion. To begin, you must be logged into your Winbd account and navigate to the Self-Exclusion page within Account Settings. You may select the duration of the exclusion period as part of the request. Activation takes effect immediately upon confirmation.
Durations and reactivation rules
For residents of the United Kingdom, self-exclusion must last for a minimum of six (6) months. Reactivation after the UK period requires a direct request to Winbd Customer Support. For residents outside the United Kingdom, the self-exclusion applies for the defined period and the account will automatically reopen at the end of that period. Reactivation may require identity verification in accordance with Winbd’s Know Your Customer and anti-money laundering procedures.
Cooling-off option
UK residents may elect a cooling-off period in addition to or instead of a standard self-exclusion. Available cooling-off durations are 24 hours, 1 week, 3 weeks, or 6 weeks. The cooling-off period can be requested while logged in through the Self-Exclusion flow or by contacting Support. Upon expiry, access to Winbd services is restored automatically without further action.
Effects during self-exclusion
- Access to all Winbd games, promotions, and related services is blocked for the duration of the exclusion.
- You will be unable to open a new Winbd account during the exclusion period.
- Participation in ongoing promotions, competitions, or event tickets granted prior to self-exclusion may be withdrawn or forfeited if the event or prize occurs during the exclusion window.
Consequences and protective measures
Winbd may take additional protective actions if it reasonably determines that continued gambling would cause financial or personal difficulties. In such cases, we may close your Winbd account or impose further restrictions. If an account is closed, you must not attempt to open a new Winbd account; doing so is at your own risk and Winbd cannot be held liable for any consequences arising from such action.
Reactivation and verification after expiry
At the end of a non-UK self-exclusion period, the account is automatically reactivated. UK residents seeking reactivation must submit a request to Winbd Customer Support, and the account may require identity verification prior to access restoration. If verification is not completed, access may be delayed or denied.
Data, privacy, and compliance
Winbd processes personal data for the administration of self-exclusion in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Data is retained for the duration of the exclusion and in accordance with legal and regulatory obligations related to gaming licensing, anti-money laundering, and responsible gambling measures. Identity verification information, where required, is retained consistent with regulatory requirements.
Support, disputes, and escalation
Requests, amendments, or disputes concerning self-exclusion should be directed to Winbd Customer Support via the platform’s Help Center. If a dispute cannot be resolved through standard channels, it will be handled under Winbd's internal dispute resolution framework and, if applicable, in accordance with licensing authority requirements.
